To prepare for a job interview, I always research the company that I am interviewing with as well as the job description. I also like to prepare questions for the interviewer so that I have a better understanding of the position offered and what my role in the company would be$.$

I then prepare myself by wearing a work appropriate outfit, usually in bold colors, show up early and be aware of my body language. I want to project confidence and showcase my strengths. A firm handshake with eye contact is a great first step. I also like to prepare and practice my interview questions like, $$Why should we hire you?$$What can you bring to our organization?$$ Being prepared for these types of questions will take the stress out of the interview itself.

I always bring a resume and a cover letter on unique or heavy stock paper. I want my resume to stand out by feel and help the interviewer to better remember me$.$ The final touch is a smile. A genuine smile can put everyone at ease and make for a more pleasant conversation.
