During the early stages of the pandemic, you may have heard various news stories linking the COVID-19 crisis to our environmental problems: global warming, climate change, pollution, etc. According to some, one effect of this crisis is that our environment was enhanced: air quality in cities improved(the California fires notwithstanding), waterways cleared, and so forth. The economy however, sank into a serious recession and near depression.

1- Do you think this tension, between the health of our economy and the health of the environment, validates the limits to growth thesis or the logic of growth thesis? Explain your answer with specific and detailed references to the videos in the module as well as the textbook.

2- Would you support some of the solutions mentioned in the module as we resolve this crisis and restart our economy? Explain why or why not.
