Edwin is a maintenance worker at a home for the elderly. He feels valued at his workplace, especially since Covid 19, when the cleanliness of the place came under intense scrutiny. The duties Edwin was expected to do each week doubled with all of the additional cleaning requirements, and there seemed to be a constant staff shortage. As a result, Edwin was getting scheduled for many hours each week. For almost a year, Edwin appreciated the extra hours as he could always use the money.
