Entertain your small group with a creative synopsis of the lives and works of Mozart and Beethoven!
Imagine you are overhearing a conversation between Mozart and Beethoven. Do they have anything in common, does it seem they are getting along? Is the conversation getting heated because they strongly disagree? Describe the imaginary conversation you are hearing between these two greats in terms of:
- life experiences
- philosophies
- their similarities and differences in compositional style.
Make an iMovie, Clips, PowerPoint, PowToonLinks to an external site., story board creatorLinks to an external site., Adobe Spark, or any other creative way to act out a hypothetical conversation between these two. You could record a video of you acting out the parts....the possibilities of communicating this hypothetical conversation are endless! If you do not know about any of these storytelling mediums above, now is your chance. As always, don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Requirements
- Address the similarities and differences between life experiences, philosophies, and compositional style in conversational form.
- Submit your story in a visual format (written essays and podcast threads will not count on their own).
- Demonstrate an understanding of this week's content and any additional reading about the time period and these two great composers.

- Distinguish characteristics between Beethoven and Mozart.
- Process historical information and develop a story from that information.
- Use your creative skills, or learn a new skill, to communicate an idea in the online environment.
