Question:
Established in 2009, OC Fitness Coach is an elite personal training, nutrition coaching, and wellness service located in Mission Viejo. OCFC has 7 personal trainers and about 70 monthly clients who pay $800 each for 10 personal training sessions ($80 for a 60 minute session of 1-on-1 personal training). The facility is often busy from 6am - 10am and again from 4pm - 7pm, with less activity in between. As you may recall, OCFC has top line revenue of about $600,000 annually and the owner aspires to reach $1M a year in gross revenue ("because it's cool"). We brainstormed this being a $5M location and a $25M business (before franchising).
Knowing what you know now (and from what we discussed in class), what strategies can the owner leverage to get to those figures and beyond in the next 2-3 years?
As a strategic consultant looking for low hanging fruits, what would you advise this client to do first?
