Ethics is the process of making decisions which reflect moral goodness. We all want strategic decisions that reflect moral goodnessthey quite literally make us feel better.

Strategy involves a careful analysis of environmental conditions as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the organization. In that process it is often easy to see the vulnerabilities of others, both outside and inside the organization, and how they may be exploited for organizational success. Exploitation and destruction of the biological environment is one of the most common ways this takes place.
