The purpose of the portfolio is to explain and provide information to hospitality industry leaders who can reference and make use of it to become more effective leaders. One of the most important parts when deciding which strategy will provide the best outcome is knowing the people employed within your organization. A. A human resource audit will differ from one organization to another due to the size, geographic location, type of product or service offered. Create a human resource audit checklist (containing a minimum of 15 items) that could be used for a business operating in the hospitality industry.
B. The human resource audit will also show the gaps within the organization and provides the opportunity to fill in the gaps or work around them. Many organizations use the 5 R’s to assist them in filling in the gaps and successfully reach their goals. The 5 R’s can be done individually or in combination with each other to close the gaps.
