First you will go to Canlii - you will use the top search bar in the BC Provincial Canlii - (remember once you get to CanLii make sure you click British Columbia on the home page so that you are ONLY searching BC) -

 

1. in the first search bar labelled Document Text - type in icbc 2022 fault - and look through the search results
2. choose on of the cases that shows up in the results that is between ICBC and an individual
3. read through the case and do a case brief so you have a good understanding of the case itself
   1. MAKE SURE it is a case from THIS YEAR - 2022
4. Next go back to the Canlii Search bar and find a case that is like the case you found in 2022 that is between an individual and ICBC from a year between 2000 and 2014.
5. Read that older case and do a case brief so you fully understand that case
6. Lastly, write me a short memorandum of law - explaining the differences you note between the two cases.
