How can you respond to the below post #1 whether you agree or disagree?
Personal selling is involved with engaging directly with carefully targeted individuals' consumers and customer communities to both obtain an immediate response and build lasting customer relationships (Kotler, 2020). A new way of personal selling now a days is online marketing; e-commerce is getting more and more relevant in the marketplace. Before technology catch up with marketing today, we use to do a door to door selling which it has been replace by e-commerce or online marketing which gives a better and faster way to sell and find customers in the marketplace.
A good example for a personal selling is being a car salesperson, this involves a lot of customer service and care, knowing the cars detailed information and functions. This type of job requires knowledge and enthusiasm when talking to a customer to be able to persuade them on buying the car. As a car salesman, you must build a good character and professional behavior because you usually get a lot of rejections or query and or concerns regarding a vehicle you trying to sell them or the one that they want, and you should be able to answers those questions and accepts rejections and keep a professional and positive attitude towards your customers. Because at the end of the day, customers have all these rights to begin with.
To overcome these objections, query and or concern from a consumer, a salesperson must remain professional and response accordingly to all these without using any personal feelings or own opinion. The main goal here is to take care of the customers and provide adequate care and provide a good customer service to your customers. A good way to combat all these rejections or concerns, is to provide an alternative solution to your customers as an option so they feel that you truly care about them and just showing that superb customer service.

What objection, query or concern could a consumer have relating to that product/service before purchasing?
Handling Objections is defined as the sales step in which a salesperson seeks out, clarifies, and overcomes any customer objections to buying (Kotler, 2020). Consumers objections can remain to themselves, be logical, or psychological. For example, if a salesperson approaches a homeowner selling solar panels it is almost certain the homeowner will have some skepticism about buying the product. A few of the main objections, queries or concerns are: 1.) What are the short- and long-term benefits of solar panels versus traditional electricity? 2.) Are there any safety concerns? 3.) Will the solar panels help the home's resale value? 4.) We can't afford solar panel.
How could a salesperson overcome that objection or answer the query or concern effectively for the consumer?
First, the salesperson should be trained and equipped with the skills needed to handle objections of potential customers/buyers. The salesperson should use a positive approach, take objections as opportunities to provide more information, and turn the objections into reasons for buying (Kotler, 2020). Per Door-to-Door Experts, a salesperson has their work cut out for them. However, when you're selling solar panels, it's important to prevent the objections from getting to you. Knowing what people will say is half the battle won (D2D Experts, 2021).
