I am going to specifically work on encouragement. I want to encourage others around me to become engaged in work. I don't want to work along side people that are just showing up for a paycheck, I want them to feel they have skin in the game, and "show up". This will be to have all inclusions, whether its opinions or ideas, or just including each other daily. This will mostly tag the new nurses, so they are not feeling isolated and alone. Although it isn't a new concept perse, it needs to be enforced. I know that people tend to follow behaviors of those they associate most with, so I need to choose to the optimistic more often than I currently am.
What is your response to this / thoughts on this pertaining to change in the workplace?
