1. List three ways in which professional work differs from nonprofessional work. Three ways in which professional work differs from nonprofessional work are mastering complex skills that are grounded in and guided by systematic theory and research. What this means is the art of practice and performing this within the time you have when training and learning your profession. This is something that all professionals are expected to do in order to be great at what they do, the simple mechanics of their skill then goes into the mastered skills of it. In addition, performing services for others known as clients or patients. This applies for the business professionals such as PT's and trainers that need to give the best service possible in order for their clients and workplace to be comfortable and professional. When they are able to meet the service expectations of their job they will become highly respected and demanded when it comes to people who get hurt or have problems with their health. Lastly, meet the expectations and standards prescribed by their professional subcultures. This means constantly being the great customer service workers and the skills that they have going on for years and years. The same success they had a while ago to present day is important to follow guidelines and understand the importance of structure of their predecessors. This one is the most important because having the foundation that was built and having people build from it and not away from it will create a better workplace for the profession and or business.
