Identify the approach you chose, why you chose it, how you learned about it...did you have to
Fantastic news! We've Found the answer you've been seeking!
Question:
- Identify the approach you chose, why you chose it, how you learned about it...did you have to go through a few types before you settled on the one for this assignment.
- Chant/meditation that you chose, and the exact name, how someone could/ would find it on YouTube.
- Explain why you chose this particular style/approach. What resonated with you most? If you have meditated before, how does this compare with your other experiences with meditation/chanting? For this assignment, even if you are an experienced meditator, try a different approach/technique/chant for the 10 days required.
- Share your experience with meditating...whether you felt comfortable, why? If you found it helpful to reduce stress, anxiety, insomnia...did you find yourself falling asleep, how did you meditate/chant - lying or sitting on the floor, lying in bed, sitting on a chair, walking?
- When and where did you meditate/chant, what time(s) seemed most helpful...less useful....was finding a private space, and a time with little or no noise or distractions difficult to attain....
- Did you find you had to change the chant (doesn't usually happen, but sometimes you feel like you want to use a different chant..goal is to be comfortable) or approach...were you more comfortable with a more quiet technique focusing on your breath or did you find guided visualization/meditation more helpful.
- Would/will you continue this practice, even when the assignment is over.
- What benefits do you feel you received from this assignment?
- Anything else you want to include/share about this experience.
