In Malaysia, the zakat collection has been increased averagely from year to year. The Government due to the several techniques and channels introduces these to facilitate people to pay zakat. However, even though the zakat collection has increased but it is contrariwise to zakat distribution. Some zakat institutions having shortage zakat funds while some having surplus.
