• Briefly define/describe needs assessments
• Identify a specific issue in you community for which needs assessment would be important;
• Identify the key stakeholders that would be important to include in such a needs assessment and why;
• After choosing one group of key stakeholders, develop 3 (three) open-ended questions that you would ask that group and why those questions would be important; keep in mind open-ended questions cannot be answered with a simple "yes or no" or a predefined set of option responses.
• What obstacles do you think you might encounter in attempting to gather these responses from the chosen group of stakeholders?
• What ethical or cultural considerations would you need to consider in conducting this needs assessment?
