In today's business environment, many companies are experiencing strong influences from groups affecting their decision making and hence making corporate governance. Also with governments requesting transparency in their business dealings (domestically and foreign), these corporations are up in arms seeking guidelines from their leaders to pave the way to be open and transparent. The stakeholders are being dealt a blow whereby they see corporations and government being unethical and immoral in their business dealings. Their only recourse is from activist/pressure groups to hear their displeasure.
