In week 1, I provided an example of an alliance to address the employment needs of formerly incarcerated individuals. In the example, a non-profit organization (or government agency) serves as a hub (or coordinator) for the formerly incarcerated individual. Formal alliances exist with other organizations to provide needed services. A community college might provide education and training services. A local government might provide transportation. A religious organization might provide housing. These alliances are with all types of organizations - public, private, and non-profit. Describe an alliance between a non-profit organization and other organizations that provide a social good or service. (Hint: Other areas could include healthcare, religious missions, hunger, pollution, ....)
