Visit the Web sites of four different organizations:

1. a retailer
2. a government department
3. a private hospital
4. a leisure organization.

Task A: 

Analyze the contents of each company's Home Web Page in relation to points given in your notes on how to write effective web pages.

 

Task B: 

Design a checklist to evaluate each web page. Add a comments section for your opinion of the Home Page and a rating of 1-10, with one being the least effective Web page and 10 being the most effective.
