It is said that the Forefathers of this great nation were truly visionaries who may have succeeded
Question:
It is said that the Forefathers of this great nation were truly visionaries who may have succeeded in giving their all for the good of a new order of government. Over 200 years later, however, if we look at the words of the Constitution it appears that two comments may arise. They are: 1) we have seen that the words can be manipulated to circumvent the letter and sprit of the law or 2) such words compose what appears to be a "living and breathing document" that has sustained us throughout our history.
Give some examples of what has evolved from the Constitution; what shouldn't have evolved and finally, what would offer the forefathers today that they should have considered then.
