For each level of care description, submissions must meet the following basic requirements: 1. Must be 2-3 pages (double-spaced) PER level of care reviewed
2. Must include a references page (using a minimum of 4 references minimum per level of care).
3. Must be written in narrative format following the order below and addressing each area sufficiently. Use WCU Library Resources, American Psychological Association, American Psychiatric Association, AMA, AOA, ACA, NASP, National Institute of Health, National Alliance for Mental Illness as well as other reliable online information sources to complete a description review for each of the following levels of care. 1. Outpatient Psychiatric/Psychological Services (Week 4) For each Level of Care: a. Define the level of care b. Identify the type of patient or client who would be most appropriate for that level of care. What criteria would the patient or client meet to be appropriate for the level of care? What patient factors would make the level of care inappropriate for a patient? c. What types of treatment are delivered at this level of care? What are the goals of treatment at this level of care? d. Describe the type of professionals who would be working at that level of care. What education and training is required for the professional (i.e., college degrees required, majors) at that level of care? What knowledge, skills, and abilities do these professional need to possess in order to function effectively at the level of care. e. Describe the type of license the professional would need to hold in Mississippi and one other state of your choice. What is required to obtain this license (i.e., education, training, examinations, etc.)? f. Identify one agency that delivers services at this level of care (e.g., Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources; South Mississippi State Hospital). g.
