- Methodology: How are you going to obtain your data?
I plan to hand the questionnaire to my coworkers. I aim to pass them out to more than 15 women and more than 15 men to ensure I get a good return. Even though it's confidential, I am concerned that not everyone will turn them in. If I do not collect enough questionnaires, I will pass them out to my family members and friends by phone, email, and social media.

The takeaway from one article was that midlife women are thriving compared with men. They are more optimistic about their lives today and five years from now than men are about theirs (Sheehy, 2016). It doesn't surprise me because, at this time in their life, children are out of the house, their careers are flourishing, and they can put themselves first.
The second article states that behavioral advantages and optimism may have biological benefits that improve health (Frye, 2016).
The last article is that optimistic subjects tend to have more frequent protective attitudes, are more resilient to stress, and are inclined to use more appropriate coping strategies (Conversano et al., 2010).
