My own personal code of ethics is my behavior's guideline that allow me to stay grounded. One of my main values is respect. Not only is it to respect people, but myself as well. Another value is empathy. I personally believe having a lack of empathy allows judgement to become prominent in tough situations. One last value I personally emphasis is confidentiality. I work in an environment where information's privacy is very enforced.
