Instructions: Select one different media artifact such as a comic strip, article, song lyric, photo, advertisement, short video clip, etc., that illustrate a communication concept or concepts. (See the key terms list at the end of each chapter for concepts.) The artifact must illustrate a different concept (or concepts). Thoroughly describe and explain the artifact and cite the source. • Identify in BOLD type the communication concept (there can be more than one) and then summarize (define/explain/characterize) the concept. • Analyze/explain how the artifact illustrates the concept, a minimum of 200 words long.
