One stage of turbine is designed with hub radius (R=0.1457m), and tip radius (R=0.2257m) respectively and blade speed (18000 rpm). Also designed is constant axial velocity (Cx-265 m/s) through the stage, mass flow rate (m=13 Kg/s) enters the rotor at angle (2 of 60) then leaves the rotor at angle (3 of 30). Assume stage design 1 equals to 3. 1. Construct complete velocity triangles including inlet of stator, outlet of stator, outlet of rotor from the left to the right. Make sure all angles have positive values, so be careful with the position of each angle. 2. Calculate the relative velocity angle 2 leaving the stator. 3. Calculate the total work delivered by this stage assuming perfect working condition.
