Operations Management Comprehensive is designed to be the culminating document to measure the student's learning success. The this requires demonstrating a command of Operations Management content, critical thinking, problem-solving/decision-making, and communication skills. The allows the student to creatively demonstrate what they have learned about Operations Management and its application. Requirements: The student will assume the role of Chairman of the Efficiency Committee, responsible for providing recommendations for improvement to operational activities for the organization's profit centers. Heads of manufacturing/or services, marketing, human resources, accounting, materials management, and finance represent members of the Committee. The Chairman reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The student (Chairman) will gather the information from the Committee and provide a report outlining organization activities at the operations level that need improvement and the recommendations to facilitate those improvements. The student will utilize all available material presented during the course and select those concepts and terms appropriate for your response that meet the metrics previously listed.
