We are currently seeing many firms facing a mass exodus of employees as employees evaluate whether or not the organization's values and culture match what they are looking for from their employer. We're also seeing a level of burnout from those who are essential/front-line employees who never had the opportunity to work remotely, as well as from those who did. You can't watch TV or follow news online today without seeing articles about these issues. Employees are asking for higher wages and increased benefits and flexibility in scheduling, and when that is not provided, they are leaving to find companies who are offering these things that have become highly valued. And in this job market today, there are firms willing to provide such opportunities given there are more job openings and applicants.
