Design a process for Click & Collect customers to collect their orders in-store. The process is to consider the following aspects:

1- Process diagram of the key process components including

• customer flow
• information flow
• product flow

2- Regular Covid-19 testing available for staff members

3- Collection point layout, brief warehouse layout and staff activity

4- Automation interfaces (where necessary)

PART-2

As the Operations Manager of a local massive supermarket, you are also responsible for managing the upcoming changes in Click & Collection section. Produce framework for the efficiently operation of Click + Collect area.

Consider the following:-

• Organisation plan with roles and responsibilities
• Reducing the number of touch points for the warehouse staff and delivery of products from your suppliers, and the staff at Click + Collect and customers
• Management of the automated touch point information (e.g. Customers' orders)
• Scale of operations to cope with fluctuations in customer numbers (e.g. different hours across different days of a week)
• Potential stock-out of essential products (e.g. toilet roll, milk, vegetables, etc.). Use any of the TWO products as an example and develop the relevant sourcing strategies. The two products should be considered as essential items from the perspective of customers.
