A vacant piece of land has been secured and the municipality has given the go ahead for the building of the church. You have been hand-picked to manage the project. The president is anxious to have the church built on time, within budget and within scope. You are required to compile a project plan that will instil confidence in the president that his promise to the people will be realised. 1.1 One of your initial tasks is to enlighten your team on the difference between projects and operations.
