Prepare an executive summary that discusses briefly the steps you’d take to solve an accounting data analysis problem. Follow the AMPS model by asking the question, mastering the data, performing the analysis, and sharing the story. You can think of any accounting question/data analysis problem that you wish. It can be based on any material that we discussed in class or any dataset that we used. For example, what is the probability that a company will declare bankruptcy or what are the factors that predict loan repayment? You don’t have to find new data or conduct the analysis, just describe briefly in words how you would solve the problem you identified.

Here are the sections that should be included in the executive summary:

l. Statement of the question/problem

II. A description of the importance of the problem or impact on the audience

III. A list of the data that you would use and method you would choose to analyze it

IV. Summary of expected results

V. Brief recommendations for the course of action based on expected results
