"As I said before, fractional ownership is the best choice. A fractional ownership is just that, you own a fraction of the aircraft. The textbook explains that the smallest share you can buy for a jet is 1/16 of a share which entitles you to 50 flight hours. This means he would only have to buy 3/16 of a share to hit his 150 hours goal. Again, the book explains that "What each owner gets is co-ownership of a particular serial-numbered aircraft and access to either that aircraft or a comparable aircraft in the program" (Hamilton Nilsson, 2020). This is good because it ensures that he will have the plane he requires when he needs it. There is still a good number of policies and laws to understand, but it is worth it in the end. If my friend were to join the company, he wouldn't have to figure all of the logistics out to the extent that he would in a co-ownership because the company would most likely already have those details straightened out. The last reason I would suggest this is that the book explained that evidence suggests that this is cheapest for those looking to fly at least 50 hours but less than 200 hours (Hamilton Nilsson, 2020)."
