Description A significant tool that all undergrads need to learn before they graduate is the ability to create and answer Research Questions (RQs). Good RQs are designed to guide a research project. The first part of this research project is the development of a current problem statement and research question based on your knowledge of Amazon from the Application of Learning assignments. The problem statement and research question should be clearly identified (ex. The problem to be addressed is.....). A significant tool that all undergrads need to learn before they graduate is the ability to create and answer Research Questions (RQs). Good RQs are designed to guide a research project. The first part of this research project is the development of a current problem statement and research question based on your knowledge of Amazon from the Application of Learning assignments. The problem statement and research question should be clearly identified, (ex. The problem to be addressed is......) Part one of this assignment is the development of a problem statement and a single research question. Based on your major and the work you have completed in AOL 1 and AOL 2, create a problem statement and research question that addresses a current problem for the company used in AOL 1 and AOL 2. Both the problem statement and research question should be submitted no later than the assigned due date in Canvas. This component will be reviewed by the professors and comments given so that you can continue with part 2 of the assignment. Part Two is critically thinking and writing about the RQ. To critically think and write about any topic including this research question there are three important steps: theory>research>analysis. The Individual Research Project will have at a minimum 5 topical/scholarly articles excluding the textbook. The deliverables include an APA cover page, an introduction, text, reference pages (with a minimum of 3 pages and a maximum of 5 pages of text formatted using APA Guidelines). The paper should seek to explain, based on your research, possible solutions to the research question. You should fully develop this point using your research, not your opinion. Citations should be included, paraphrasing of work requires that citation information is present. Remember, anything that is not considered common knowledge needs to be referenced. This does NOT mean that your paper should be full of direct quotations, rather it means that the research should be used to support your writing providing validity to the analysis that you are creating. The research paper should be submitted via the submission link in Canvas.
