Using the materials and methods discussed in Chapter 2 and 3, prepare a business case for your project idea using the business case template.
Place your project within your current or former company. The key here is to be addressing a problem or an opportunity by suggesting a project to solve the problem / take advantage of an opportunity. For example, running a recruiting campaign can be a project, but what problem is it solving? Understanding and stating the problem is the starting point.
This is NOT a summary of a project that has already been done, this assignment is about assessing a problem / opportunity and proposing how to address it.
Your project is subject to these constraints: there is a budget of $350,000; a project team of 4 people; and the project must be completed within 2 - 3 years. Your project financials will use a discount rate of 4%.
Your business case must contain three suggested ways for the project, and use the financial tools and scoring methods described in the text to select the most appropriate project solution. For the final analysis portion, be sure to explain how the tools are used, which tool or tools is suitable for your project and why.
I have created a video overview of the business case document that you can view here:https://youtu.be/KEPG_YjUNhE
Attachments include the detailed financial report and scoring methods. Note that preparing the financial analysis can be done using the template included in the course template file and either embedded into the end of the business case, or attached separately to your submission.
