The transactional leadership style focuses on process and control from a leader and is characterized by a strict management structure. On the other hand, transformational leadership involves leaders mentoring and aspiring their followers and involves effective communication, coordination and corporation. These two-leadership styles differ in how transformational leadership establishes the vision and inspires team members to strive to achieve greatness, whereas transactional leadership is based on extrinsic motivation to do the given task (Renigunta et al., 2022). I fall under transformational leadership because I value team coordination and collaboration to achieve better results. Transformational leadership style plays a key role in helping leaders grow and be successful. This is because it involves leaders motivating their teams and boosting morale and performance, which is key in meeting the firm's objectives. It helps leaders to connect with their subjects which is crucial in increasing efficiency within the team. One needs to trust team members, communicate and listen, accept responsibility and be inspired to become a transformational leader.
