Sally and Laura met at the hospital where they both work as nurses. They fell in love
Question:
Sally and Laura met at the hospital where they both work as nurses. They fell in love and decided that Laura should move into the house which Sally owned. Sally assured Laura that they would be together forever and share everything, including the house. Laura sold her own small, still mortgaged flat, and they two spent the small profit on a new kitchen and bathroom. Laura also put a lot of time and energy transforming a chaotic backyard into a striking garden, adding significant value to the property.
In 2018 they got married, and after undergoing fertility treatment with donor sperm, Laura gave birth to Emerald and Sapphire in 2019. Sally had recently been promoted and they decided that it made economic sense for the family if Laura stayed at home with the children, as opposed to paying childcare costs for two infants.
Over the last year or so, Sally has had increasingly suffered from stress and anxiety. She has been prescribed medication but often fails to take this. Sally is inclined to shout aggressively at both Laura and the children, and flies into a temper over minor issues. Last night however things escalated, and Sally slapped Laura and pushed her against a wall, leaving her bruised and with a bleeding nose.
Sally stormed out of the house and has gone to stay with a friend for a few days. Laura is very frightened about what might happen next however and would prefer it if Sally did not return to the family home, at least in the short term.
