Shell Seafood Restaurant caters weddings and other events in a mall New England town. The following is an overview of the planning that took place last summer. Jason the restaurant's general manager together with the wedding couple planned a garden wedding and reception in a town park near the restaurant. Jason prepared a menu that the couple liked cream of asparagus soup, chicken fricassee, potatoe au gratin, cauliflower Mornay, and for dessert creme brulee. Jason also suggested white and red house wines with an allocation of 3/4 bottle per person. The wedding couple's aunt made the cake, and it was delivered to the park, but when Jason's staff assembled it. the weight of the top two tiers caused the cake to get into the thin layer of icing and fall over.
