Using the Analyze→Descriptives Frequencies command, in the Statistics submenu, compute the mean, standard deviation, and standard error of the mean for the scores listed above. Name the variable and variable label for this question your first and last initials, followed by the question number (so I'd have LZ6 as my variable name). Mark up the SPSS output you paste in. By hand, show how you would get the standard error, plugging in the standard deviation value from your output into the appropriate formula. Show the intermediate calculations (e.g., what the square root of N is), too! Use basic calculator functions (addition, division, square root) and SPSS only; don't program into a graphing calculator or use any other spreadsheet program.
