This workplace has recently been experiencing tension between management and other workers over workplace inclusion and a general climate that is leaving many workers feeling uncomfortable. Certain managers have been using racist, sexist, and/or homophobic language that you and other workers find distressing, harmful, and inappropriate. You and several other workers (a team) have come together to make a plan to resolve this issue.
Briefly explain in one to two paragraphs the scenario that you are addressing. Explain why this problem is significant. To help convey the significance, find and briefly summarize (as part of your Introduction) a source from SocIndex with Full Text in the UMGC Library that discusses a similar problem. At the end of your Introduction, be sure to explain what the rest of your Assignment will be addressing so that the reader knows what to expect.
Part 2: Concepts
In two to three paragraphs, explain in your own words, using short quotations as needed) at least 6 concepts/theories from our course that are relevant to creating and implementing your suggestion. Be as specific as possible. Rather than just stating "Impression Management," it would work best to write about various concepts associated with Impression Management. You likely will need to go through the materials that you have studied in this course to find the most relevant concepts.
