And focuses mainly between the employee and his direct manager. How in the world a subordinate owes fealty principally to his immediate boss. To never cross him, outshine him, and to not contradict his boss's judgment in public. In other words the shrewd subordinate learns to efface himself so that his boss's face shines more

The second idea is how the change of a ceo is draining, as everything you built with the previous ceo alll goes into dust. And you will have to rebuild your image, trust, and loyalty with the new ceo all over again
