The company Hermes & Shoes has grown organically over the last four years, as the influent entrepreneurs from the personal network of the founder and manufacturer, Laura Hermes, started to ask her to conduct new stores to sell her shoes in 5 different cities in the Province of Quebec and also in USA and Mexico. Charles Croix, the first entrepreneur, is now the owner of Store 1, located in Quebec City. Charles helps other entrepreneurs set up the stores due to his experience working with Laura for many years in the Canadian market. Store 2 belongs to Janice Vincenzo, in Longueuil, Store 3, to Muhammad Amil in Outremont-Montreal, and Store 4 to Navdeep Kaur in Laval. Charles Croix is negotiating to open a store in San Francisco, California (USA), and a new entrepreneur, Margarete de la Vega, is now opening a new store in Mexico.

 

Laura is now more concentrated on shoe production, but she also needs to have better management of how the stores sell her shoes to control output, decide the styles and other details from the customer demand. The stores' owners highly respect her, and her shoes are awarded for their outstanding modern design and comfort. The owners want to know more about the novelties in terms of merchandise to organize their stock prevision to supply their demand by Hermes & Shoes brand.

In groups of 3 students, prepare a world file  showing how you would guide Laura Hermes to implement a system in her chain, to collect all the data that she needs, including the types of data, the sources, devices you could use, as well as the aspects that she needs to take care of and advice the entrepreneurs to ensure their success in the new venture in their stores abroad, principally. Also, you must simulate how is the best way that the collected data could be presented to her to help her to make better decisions in her production and have better and prompt communication with the stores' owners.
