Question:
The question above is answered by my book as follows: "The distribution of ages of best actress winners are right-skewed with a median around 30 years. The distribution of ages of best actor winners is also right-skewed, though less so, with a median around 40 years. The difference between the peaks of these distributions suggest that best actress winners are typically younger than best actor winners. "
My questions are:
(a) how did we know the median for best actresses is around 30 and for best actors it's 40?
(b) how was it concluded that the best actress winners are typically younger than best actor winners?
(c) isn't the 30 the mode for best actresses distribution rather than the median value, as the highest peak corresponds to 30?
