The next big concern that I can see is diversity. Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) are top priorities for HR professionals (Larralde, 2023). There needs to be goals and strategic planning behind DEIB which could require a great deal of time to define clearly.
Lastly, landing top talent and retaining them has always been and is still a big concern for HR departments. To aggressively go after the top candidate for a position, companies may need resources that they don't have (McConnell, 2023). This can cause big problems because companies could spend too much time, money, and effort on these hires. There are many other aspects of HR that the team needs to focus on so putting too much time into recruitment can cause issues as well. Lastly, retention issues can arise from many things but HR needs to be aware of the issues before they start losing their best employees.
