Question:
The point of legal writing is to make the complicated simple and the simple not complicated. The writer has to make the reader not trying hard to understand his or her ideas, arguments and opinions. It all should be simple. Although law can be confusing, it is the writer goal to make the point as clearly and simple as possible. The writer must always keep in mind that the reader does not know what he/she knows. Anything the writer writes must always amke sense to the reader. Most importantly, the only way to learn how to write well is by writing. Legal writing is designed to persuade the reader. The writer must not try to find an aswer to a question for it might turn out messy and complicated to the reader. Most common errors by writers is that they start to write before doing any research. A writer job is to figure out the best argument and not looking for answers. The writer must always spend time revising so that it makes sense to the reader. The writer must not stop when completed the job but when there is something that is clear to the reader. A writer paper consist of of introduction, background, arguments and conclusion. A writer must write the introduction last, quote first, explain later. Use topic sentence to organize paragraph and do a checklist to eliminate that does not make sense. Remove unnecessary adverb and make sure the reader who's performing action and each sentence.
Researching the law can be hard to navigate. For me in class, I may do some research that could be accurate but still confusing. By writing and doing research at the same time, figuring what it is that you're writing as you go along can be confusing and that is one thing I struggle with. As the author mentioned, you must always research first before writing anything. Making sure it makes sense and always putting yourself in the place of the reader can be a great idea. It will help with making it simple as possible and always revise everything before submitting.
