The Program for Reducing Social Disparities (PRSI) was created in 2016 to provide financial support to poor families in rural areas. A survey of a representative sample of the eligible families was conducted in 2018 in order collect to information on the implementation of the PRSI and its impacts, including data on the characteristics of the target population and coverage rate of the program. Respondents’ responses to the survey were assembled into a database containing the following variables: • ID: Identifier of the family • Gender: the gender of the head of the family (0=women, 1=men) • Expenditure: family’s total expenditures • Education: the family head frequented school (1=yes, 0=no) • Property: the monetary value of the land owned by the family • Age: the age of the family head (5 categories of age). • Beneficiary: the family received the financial support of the PRSI between 2016 and 2018 (1= yes, 0 = no)
