This is beneficial to companies in the EU as they are free to work independently and make choices that coincide with their business needs. MNC's in Russia operate in a strict environment being overseen by their government, Most, if not all, decisions must firstly address the governmental rules and regulations imposed on their business. They have less independence when it comes to choices and their business needs. Similar to the EU, there are also advantages to having their MNC's so highly regulated.
