The World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have been dubbed the 'Bretton Woods Institutions' since the two institutions were formed at the Bretton Woods Conference, United States of America in 1944. The two institutions have cooperated with each other to promote economic stability and development. Evaluate any five (5) areas of cooperation of these two institutions towards promoting economic development in third world countries. (25) Five marks will be awarded to each area of cooperation between the IMF and WB showing how effective the area of cooperation is towards economic development, using examples of third world countries. Five (5) areas of cooperation between the IMF and WB will be required.
