Both take into consideration that companies require a structure to grow and be profitable. The design of an organizational structure helps senior management to identify the talent that needs to be added to the company. Structure planning ensures that there are sufficient human resources within the company to achieve the goals set out in the company's annual plan. Also, it is important that responsibilities are clearly defined. Each person has a job description, and each job occupies its own position on the organization chart.
