You will submit a Thesis Statement which must be no more than 2 sentences long and it must include the topic of the paper and the position you will take in the paper. You will submit an outline of the major points to be addressed in your paper. The outline must include the following:
- Headings that cover the major points in the thesis statement
- Must be at least 900 words
- Must use Bluebook format

Research Paper: Draft Assignment Instructions
Overview
The draft paper allows you to develop the main topics of your outline. It also helps you to show your main hypothesis that supports the thesis statement of your paper. It enables you to know which aspects of the paper require more work and which ones are redundant and can be taken out in the final paper. The draft should be qualitatively and quantitatively different from the final paper.
Instructions
You will submit a draft of your research paper that must include the following.
- Must be at least 3,000 words.
- Must include an introduction, and thesis statement that is no more than 2 sentences and is incorporated into the introduction, outline, main body, and conclusion.
- Must include a bibliography.
- Must have at least 15 citations
- Must be in the current Bluebook format.

It enables you to demonstrate the originality of your research and its contributions to the field of study. INSTRUCTIONS Choose 1 of the main topics covered in this course as the topic for your Research Paper.
