Trading of the Bitcoin spot ETF is off to a rip-roaring start. More than $4.6 billion shares of Bitcoin ETFs were traded Thursday. This impressive volume is despite pushback from some of the biggest names on Wall Street. Another story is how the new Bitcoin ETF fits into the retail investment world of cash, bonds, and stocks. Bitcoin, as a new market (yes, 15 years old is still a new market), still requires maturity and thus will continue to experience growing pains and volatility. How investors and retirees respond to the Bitcoin ETF will dictate if Wall Street big whigs formally adopt the product.
