Use available Microsoft Learning website links to start your research; then find more information fromat least 3 websites on the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification in particular (try some that I found...look for more; Students talk about Microsoft Certifications, Microsoft Certifications ignite IT Career). The MOS certifications prove your proficiency in Microsoft Office applications from the company Microsoft. After completing this course, you are encouraged to take an advanced semester course here at Normandale on Word, Excel, Access, or PowerPoint. These courses are the intermediate through post advanced curriculum. The intermediate/advanced semester courses complete the preparation for you to complete the MOS for Office Certification Tests. We include the MOS Certification Test as part of the advanced courses FREE to each student. Having passed the certification tests, you will be able to market yourself as Microsoft Certified by using the MOS logo for your resumes and business cards.

Complete the following:

1. Write a summary of what you found on MOS Certifications. I expect multiple sources and no less than 250 words.
2. At the closing of the summary, type the word OPINION in capitals; state your opinion on how could an MOS Certification be an advantage and benefit to your college education and your workforce career. Please understand, you present the facts and knowledge from your research first to express your new found expertise, THEN you state your opinion.
