Water droplets are to be separated from air in a simple separation drum. The flow rate of the air 1000 m3/hr at STP and it contains 75 kg of water. The drum will operate at 1.1. Bara and 20oC. Size a suitable liquid-vapor separator which uses a demister pad. Given density of air at s.t.p. is 1.286 kg/m3. Also given are the density of air and water at 20o C and 1.1 bar as 1.3 kg/m3 and 1000 kg/m3 respectively.
