Week 1: Homework Discussion Here is the problem set for Week 1: Textbook section 1.1: 8, 18, 26, 28, 36, 42, 110, 114, 138 Textbook section 1.2: 4, 46, 50 Textbook section 1.3: 24, 28, 37, 40 Textbook section 1.4: 14, 20, 28, 72 9 I will post your assigned problems at the beginning of the week (Monday). By the initial post-deadline, post your answers to your assigned problems only, including a scanned copy of all your work. If there is not an announcement posted by Monday, 11:59 PM ET, of this week with the problem assignments, please contact me. Then, reply to two other students about their answers and the work they posted for their problems, discussing how their work helped you understand something, how you might have approached a problem differently, or how you would (politely) correct any errors that are present in their answers/work. Remember, too, to work through all problems as practice for the quizzes and exams.
